Corners of my city
Oh hello, little neglected blog of mine. I don't know how many times I have said I'm going to restart blogging, and maybe this is just me saying it one more time, but let's give it another shot, huh? I've been thinking a lot about what I would like to blog about, so maybe this time we can make it work.
On Monday in an attempt to tear myself away from a Mad Men marathon, I filled my coffee cup with a latte and took myself on a wander around Queens Park. This gorgeous setting is literally a hop, skip and a jump from outside my front steps and I overlook it almost every single day.
It was a brisk, frosty afternoon and the lake was frozen solid except for one small patch, which of course the swan commandeered. Almost daily I say thanks to the universe for being able to live in a country that has proper seasons. And every time the seasons change I think "YES! This one, this one is my favourite!"
For now, I'm happy to be crunching through leaves and wrapping myself up in layers and taking comfort in the cosiness.

I'm obsessed with Mad Men, I can totally understand why you'd need to tear yourself away from it!
